Once you have filled in a registration form, we will contact you to run through your requirements in more detail and add any specific requirements to match your individual needs.
Our Code of Conduct
Our childcarers have been interviewed by an East Midlands Nannies and au pairs recruitment consultant. They have had their qualifications and employment record checked, in depth written references taken up, and First Aid checked. Importantly, they have also been asked to complete an enhanced DBS (formerly the Criminal Records Bureau) check.
Interviewing your Nanny
Once you have given us all the relevant information we will email you details of the candidates who are best suited to your requirements. You can then arrange a convenient time for your candidates to meet you and your family. We will work continuously until you find the nanny that is right for you and your family.
Contracts and PAYE
Once we have found a childcarer that you wish to employ a contract will need to be drawn up between you and the nanny. East Midlands Nannies and Au Pairs provide a standard form contract; we will be happy to advise on the contract as necessary. We will also advise you on procedures for PAYE (through the nanny payroll company https://www.way2paye.co.uk ), insurance, and holidays.
Placement Fee and East Midland Nannies and Au Pairs Guarantee
Once the booking has been confirmed a fee is payable. The fee covers the placing of a candidate and includes a guaranteed replacement in the unlikely event the candidate does not work out within the 8 weeks. East Midlands Nannies and Au Pairs is one of the minority of agencies to offer a replacement nanny or a full refund should the placement not work out (see terms and conditions).
